Is there anything in canon that explains why Ron's patronus is a Jack Russell Terrier? It seems to me (and I may have this wrong) that a person's patronus shape has more to do with an animal that is significant to them than an animal that reflects that person's personality. Are the colour of Hermione or Ron's eyes ever mentioned in the series?
